The MS concert that was cancelled last night has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, December 11th at 7pm.
Due to the current weather conditions and the high winds forecasted for later today, Mobridge-Pollock Schools will be closed Tuesday December 9th. All after-school activities have been canceled.
LEC meeting has changed. It will now be this Wednesday the 10th at 6pm. Meeting will be held in the HS JOM room.

The Mobridge-Pollock High School Chorus will provide musical entertainment for "Christmas at the Capitol" on Monday, December 15, 2025, between 12:00-1:00pm. The holiday performance in the capitol rotunda will feature the mixed chorus, girls chorus, boys chorus, select ensemble, and various solos and duets. The event is free and open to the public. The chorus is under the direction of Mrs. Lisa Zahn.

Easton Eisemann, a junior at MPHS, is competing in the Saddle Bronc riding at the Junior Nationals Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV this weekend. Mobridge-Pollock high school band students performed at the Legends Theater for “Branson On Stage Live.” They opened for the Legend In Concert including impersonators of Shania Twain, Toby Keith, the Blues Brothers, the Judds, and Elvis. Thank you to the educators and chaperones for making this trip possible for our students.

Due to inclement weather, the Mobridge-Pollock School District will be dismissing at 2:00 p.m. All after-school activities and activity bus services are canceled.

The Mobridge-Pollock School District will host a Strategic Action Planning session on December 2, 2025, to help shape the district’s direction for the next three to five years. Stakeholders will review survey data, examine student achievement results, and identify key priorities that will guide future district efforts. Two sessions will be held in the High School library: one for staff from 3:30–5:30 PM and one for community members and parents from 6:00–8:00 PM. Those interested in participating are encouraged to email Stephen Vigliotti at Stephen.vigliotti@k12.sd.us. All staff, parents, and community members are invited to attend and ensure their voices are part of this important planning process.

Our high school art students have been working hard this year completing these fantastic projects. They are working through units experimenting with new techniques with guidance from Ms. Street.
