Welcome to Freeman Davis Elementary School! Our goal is to provide an exceptional educational environment, which enables our students to become independent readers, writers, and thinkers. We are focused on schoolwide positive behavior and use the Second Step Social Emotional Learning program. We teach and remind students to Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Responsible. We will work together with you to guarantee student achievement and success, ensuring that students are making adequate educational and personal growth.

I have been the Elementary Principal and Director of Special Education with the Mobridge Pollock School District since the 2010-11 school year, this is my 21st year as a Principal and my 29th year as an educator. I received my Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Psychology and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I went to the University of Phoenix -Reno, NV where I received my Master's of Arts in Education Administration and Supervision.

My husband Jon started his own business, Olson Heating & Air in January, 2021. We have four children: Isaac is a Junior at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul Minnesota, Gretchen is a Junior, Heidi is a Sophomore, and Luke is in Seventh Grade. We own the Mac Theater and Pheasant Drive In Movie Theaters and have a Goldendoodle named Luna. We enjoy spending time attending the many activities our children participate in as well as cheering for our favorite team. Go Tigers!
