All About 1st Grade:

1st grade is a fun time of learning, exploring and creativity! We will improve our reading and math skills. We will explore our curiosity in science and learn about different social skills in social studies and second step. It is a fun year full of new things and exciting times! We will go on two field trips throughout the year.  In the fall, we travel to the local Apple Orchard.  In the spring, we travel to the Discovery Center in Pierre and learn through play and hands-on activities.

All About Mrs. Flaherty:

I graduated from Trinity Bible College and Valley City State University in 2016 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Reading Instruction. I taught 2nd grade for 3 years at Hitchcock-Tulare School District and have been teaching 1st grade for 4 years at the Mobridge-Pollock School District. My husband, Donovon, and I live in Mobridge with our kids, Michael, Cleveland, Abraham, Ezekiel, and McKenna. We enjoy any time spent together, especially if it involves sports and outdoor activities.
