Hi, my name is Jan Lawrence and I'm greatly enjoying my third year with Freeman Davis as a SPED paraprofessional. I am a graduate from Northern State University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and minors in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

My work history includes Child Protection Services, Economic Assistance, Mental Health and most recently Longterm care where I was the social worker at our local nursing home. Upon the facility closing it's doors, I was presented the opportunity to work as a SPED paraprofessional with Freeman Davis School. Both a challenge and decision I've had no regrets in making. Working with our area youth and the amazing staff at Freeman Davis has made it a pleasure to come to work each day.

I am married to my best friend, David and together we have four grown children, two sets of twins! In my leisure time I enjoy walking outdoors, hiking in the hills, warm weather, reading and spending time with my grandchildren.
